The Gemara in Masechet Shabbat says: The world exists but for the breath of young children, for their words are pure and are not blemished with sin.

At WTA, the purity of the words of our children sound each day; during tefillah, the study of chumash, navi, mishna, or parasha studies.Together, we want to fill every single day of the school year with a sponsored Day of Learning.

We are asking each family to choose a day to honor their child(ren) with a bracha. Some examples include:

  • A year of growth – שנה של צמיחה

  • A year of health – שנה של בריאות

  • A year of learning – שנה של לימוד

  • A year of friendship and kindness – שנה של חברות וחסד

  • A year of curiosity and discovery – שנה של סקרנות וגילוי

Or choose your own blessing in English or Hebrew.

As always, a Day of Learning can also be dedicated:

  • In honor of your grandchildren

  • To celebrate milestones or smachot

  • In memory of a loved one

  • To honor an Israeli hero or hostage.

You can sponsor one day or multiple days throughout the year — and we are asking every family to participate so that the entire year is uplifted by the love, generosity, and intention of our community.

An email will be sent to the parent body announcing your your thoughtful donation of sponsorship. As a community, we can all join together to support our students’ journeys.

A donation of $250 will sponsor the learning at our school for one day. Multiple sponsorships will be allowed for the same day. Sponsorships will be listed in the order they were reserved.
